Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2013

Hey lovelies! As you know, I am a HUGE fan of everything Victoria's Secret. I was so excited to watch the show, and yesterday, I finally did, and I thought it was amazing! I am still trying to work out which show I preferred-this year's one or last year's one. In my opinion, last year's may have won that debate-purely because of the musical guests who were Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars as you may know. This year, in my opinion, the musical guests were not as good-Fall Out Boy, Taylor Swift, A great big world and Neon Jungle, but thats just what I think.
The night was divided into six sections-British Invasion, Birds of Paradise, Parisian Nights, Shipwrecked, Snow Angels, Pink Network.
Taylor Swift and model Lily Aldridge
Neon Jungle
Fall Out Boy
The opening of the show was the 'British Invasion' where Taylor Swift sang in a Union Jack outfit. Cara Delevigne, Jourdan Dunn and Lily Donaldson each represented Britain in their own unique way.

Rimmel Salon Pro: Hip Hop (317)

Hi loves! Hope you have all been doing great. Apologies for the inconsistency of my blog posts. I hope to post every Sunday now.
As Winter is vast approaching, my nails have to look on-point. I am not particularly a fan of black or navy coloured polishes-I find them too dull and gloomy (personally) I much prefer bright colours, whatever time of the year! I favour pinks and blues, though. Now I came across this colour in my mum's nail varnish collection and thought it looked nice and was worth giving a try. It is the Salon Pro by Rimmel in 'Hip Hop' (317)

LOVING the shine!

High street polishes have really gone from strength to strength these past few years in my opinion; gone are the days when we used to buy streaky, watery polishes. Now the market spoils us for choice with plenty of high-quality formulas that are similar if not the same to what nail salons/bars use. We can create the 'Gelish' look at home! The Salon Pro Kate Moss collection has been out for a while and I have used a range of their colours in the past. My favourite thing about this polish is its brush-it is wide and makes the polish easy to cover the nail in seconds.

I used two coats and a clear coat (Also in the Salon pro range. It is called 'Clearly Clear' (421) ) to create the 'Gelish' finish, and it is safe to say I am pleased with the results. The colour is striking and suits my complexion very well, it is kind of a coral/red colour, which replicates Chanel 'Holiday' at a more affordable price of £4.49 in Boots, Superdrug or even your local pharmacy. Go on, you know you want to!

The polish does claim to have up to 10 days of chip resistance, but after a couple of days if you examine your nails extremely closely, you may detect one or two chips, but how much your nails chip depends on your lifestyle.

Tangle Teezer

Hey loves! I hope you have all been doing well. Recently, I got my hair relaxed for the first time. Some of you may be unsure as to what 'relaxing your hair' is-it is a type of lotion that is used by people with curlier-textured hair, and the relaxer assists in straightening out the curls. So far I love it-my hair is so much easier to style.

I of course, had to purchase lots of new products once my Auntie had relaxed my hair. When it came to brushes, I was torn between the Denman D82M brush and the 'Tangle Teezer'. Eventually I opted for the 'Tangle Teezer'. I had heard about it before, some people had positive things to say and some had negative things to say, but if you know me, I'm a manufacturer's dream-I will try pretty much anything!

I bought it from a shop called 'My Beauty First' not far from where I live. It was £10 and I got the 'Salon Elite' one in fluorescent pink. I am aware that you can get one in other colours from 'My Beauty First' and on Tangle Teezer's website. They have a variety of types of brushes-Aqua Splash, The Original, Compact Styler/Compact Styler Collectables, Magic Flowerpot and of course, Salon Elite, which I have.

I can tell you that this brush is a fantastic scalp-massager. The teeth are small which allows it to run through all the nooks and crannies and hold flyaways in place with no problem. I will do an update on how it takes to my relaxer regrowth because at the moment I have none as my hair was not relaxed that long ago.

Some of you may be thinking 'Is the Tangle Teezer only of use to people with tangles/knots in their hair?' In my opinion, I think not. For me, I don't really have tangles/knots in my texture of hair and it works wonderfully for smoothing down edges and the back of my hair.

The packaging was normal-it came in a plastic box which had the United Kingdom flag. I noticed at the side there was a bit of background information on it which was interesting to read.

All in all, I would say the Tangle Teezer is definitely worth a try. It may or may not work for your hair-what may be good/bad for some may not be good/bad for others, but it doesn't stop you from experimenting.

Thank you for reading! Please look out for my next post and of course the update on the Tangle Teezer. In the meantime, please don't forget to follow me and comment. What do you think? Will you be purchasing your own Tangle Teezer?**
